Pacific College of Health and Science has announced a new, first-ever degree program: a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) touted by the college as the first postgraduate program in holistic nursing in the United States. PCHS notes that "upon completion, nurses will be prepared to provide holistic and integrative nursing education in academia, hospitals, healthcare systems, and private practice consulting."
A bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is a prerequisite for entering the MSN program. Other requirements for program entry include a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher; completion of basic pathophysiology, basic health assessment, basic pharmacology and basic nursing courses (C grade or higher in each), and completion of a statistics or statistical review course / certification. The MSN program begins this fall.
