Acupuncture Today – December, 2005, Vol. 06, Issue 12

You Can Become Acupuncture Today's Next Columnist!

By Editorial Staff

Have you ever thought about becoming a columnist for Acupuncture Today? If so, now's your chance!

Acupuncture Today has been published on a monthly basis since January 2000.

Many of Acupuncture Today's columnists have been writing for the publication since that time. After several years, however, a few columnists have decided to take time off to pursue other areas of interest and to allow other members of the profession to step in and fill their shoes.

As the saying goes, when one door closes, another one opens - and this could be the opening you've been waiting for. We're looking for acupuncturists, doctors of Oriental medicine, and other experts in the field of traditional Chinese medicine who would be interested in contributing a regular column (consisting of three to four articles per year) on one of the following topics:

  • Allergies and Allergies
  • Asian Bodywork
  • Detoxification
  • Needle Techniques
  • Pediatrics

We're also looking for interesting case studies, research papers, practice management tips, historical pieces, and other items you would like to share with the profession.

If you are interested in becoming a columnist, please send us one original article (between 750 and 1,000 words), along with a cover letter indicating which column you'd like to write, a curriculum vitae or resume, and a color photograph to:

Acupuncture Today
5406 Bolsa Avenue
Huntington Beach, CA 92649

You may also e-mail the requested information to us at  .

Should you be chosen as a columnist, you will be notified of Acupuncture Today's decision within two to four weeks of our receiving all of the necessary information, at which time you will be asked to sign and return an assignment of copyright form for your article submissions. If several practitioners are interested in writing on the same subject, we may use a "shared column" format, with practitioners either collaborating on articles or alternating between columns.
